Holi is the festival of colors, gujiyas and rejuvenation of love. It all starts the night before with Holika dahan. This festival of colors was also celebrated in our school with great excitement by the little toddlers. All the little ones came to school in traditional attires where the teachers explained the importance of Holi to them. The children played with flower petals, which is the style of playing Holi in Mathura. The use of artificial colors was avoided; the idea was to keep the festival safe for children. The little ones enjoyed a lot with music, sweets, and danced to their heart’s content. Little handmade pichkaris were given as takeaways which brought big smiles on cute little faces.
