To make someone smile is the biggest satisfaction”- Anonymous

A festival is the best occasion to spread cheer among children. We, at Little One – The Jaipuria Preschool in Jajmau, decided to bring smiles to the faces of young children of a foundling home on the occasion of the festival of Raksha Bandhan.

A foundling home is the home of children abandoned by their parents. They need extra love and care to make up for the losses they have suffered so early in life. The staff of our school did just that on Raksha Bandhan.

We celebrated the festival with the children of a foundling home. We distributed gifts and sweets to make the children happy. The celebration not only brought smiles to the faces of the little ones, it also taught them the value of relationships.

The whole experience was like a blessing.

Happy Raksha Bandhan to all.

Beautiful Creations of Little Ones at RAKHI COMPETITION 2021

Raksha Bandhan is one of the most endearing ways to celebrate the bond between brothers and sisters. To strengthen this bond, Little One – The Jaipuria Preschool in Jajmau conducted a Rakhi-making Competition.
Students from all classes participated in the competition and made colorful rakhis. They used decorative threads, stars, mirrors, pearls, sequins and flowers for making beautiful rakhis.
The event was celebrated with full enthusiasm and zeal. We believe that celebrating the festivals in their true spirit teaches students about our Indian traditions and culture.
Everyone appreciated the creativity of the students.
