Patriotic Fervour at 75th Independence Day Celebration
India’s 75th Independence Day was celebrated with much patriotic ardour by the students, teachers and staff of Little One – The Jaipuria Preschool in Jajmau, Kanpur. The celebration began with the unfurling of the National Flag on the school campus, followed by the National Anthem that stirred a deep patriotic sentiment in everyone present. The young students of the pre-school stole the show with their virtual performances that ranged from the patriotic pledge to the singing of songs extolling the nation and the valour of the freedom fighters and the soldiers who laid down their lives for this incredible country of ours. There was an energetic dance performance by two girl students.
Children also dressed up as the national symbols and said inspiring slogans to express their love for India.
Regardless of religion, caste and gender, we all are true patriots and shall always remain so.
